Appleton Wools

Appleton Wools have been produced in England for 180 years from the finest wool selected from the markets in Bradford, Yorkshire.  Spun in the UK into 2 ply crewel and 4ply tapestry yarn Appleton Wools are durable, moth-proofed and hard wearing. Tapestry projects made form Appleton Wools last for generations. Some of the colours are still the originals  used by William Morris with more recent additions and they are used by designers all over the world.
