Painters Threads'

A hand dyed range of threads based on the rich colours used by artists of the Impressionist and Expressionist movements in Art of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Colours are not dyed in a repeating colour sequence but rather a colourful composition of the colours used most often by each featured artist and which reflect their work overall. The colours are named by surname for male painters (Matisse) and Christian name for the females (Frida)

Please note - We stock a part range of threads in Perle 8 and 12, coton a broder and decorative trims. The images shown can also deviate considerably from the delivered product due to the mentioned dyeing technique and different screen outputs.
