Introduction to Embroidery
Wed Morning, 10am to 12pm
8 week course, $120.00
Classes begin Aug 28th.
Discover the magic of Embroidery with like minded people in a relaxed and fun environment.
In this class you will be introduced to the basics of embroidery.
You will learn about:
- Fabric and thread choices
- How to get your designs onto fabric
- Which tools are best and how to use them
- Basic stitches including stem stitch, chain stitch, outline and running stitches, fly stitch
- How to use the right stitch when interpreting a design.
You will begin with a stitch sampler and move on to using these stitches in a project of your choice
A supply kit will be available at your first class. You can find a basic requirement list and terms and conditions below.
~ Beyond the Basics ~
Wed afternoon 1pm to 3pm
Booking is in 8 week blocks at $120.00
Classes begin August 28th.
This is a stitch group for those who have learned the basics but are looking to extend their skills and to meet with like minded people.
You will choose your own project and have tuition to guide you with design, fabric and thread choices.
