Payment & shipping

All orders within New Zealand are sent by NZ Post or Couriers, we endeavour to choose the most economical option.

Our shipping prices are:

Small parcel $5.50
(Threads, small fabric, most accessories)

Medium small parcel $7.50
( small kits, some threads, some accessories)

Medium  parcel $9.50
( books,  leaflets)

Large parcel $14.00
(Needlepoint kits, larger books, larger accessories)

X-Large parcel $15.00
(Over-sized items: tapestry frames, lamps, larger needlepoint kits)

If you order multiple items, postage will be calculated at the cost of the largest item. Items on back order will be sent free of charge at a later date except for those pesky X-Large items. If you want items insured you will need to contact us to make arrangements.

For overseas orders we will endeavour to keep small items at the given rate but for larger items we will contact you regarding the best method, insurance and the timing. Delivery times will be discussed then.

 

Delivery times

Orders for items in stock will be processed within 1 or 2 days. Please allow 2-3 days for items to reach their destination and extra for rural delivery and South Island. If you haven’t received your package after 7 working days please contact us to initiate a trace.

For orders containing any out of stock items we will contact you by phone or email to discuss your order and let you know approximate timing or discuss an alternative.

For items that need to be ordered in please allow up to 4 weeks depending on the product. We will however keep you posted.

Once orders are despatched we cannot be responsible for shipping delays or damage caused by postal service or couriers.

Payments are processed through a secure payment gateway.
We accept Mastercard, Visa or Paypal.

 

Returns

We want you to be happy with your purchase. Please make your selection carefully. If for any genuine reason you are unhappy with your purchase please contact us within 2 days and we will endeavour to rectify the problem. Any enquiry will be evaluated on an individual basis. We do not accept returns if you change your mind.

Please note postage/shipping fees are non-refundable. Return shipping is at your expense and must include proof of purchase. Any goods returned must be in original condition and packaging and properly packed for postage. The Embroiderer cannot take responsibility for any damage incurred during postage.

 

Colour accuracy

Please be aware when purchasing on the internet, that colours may not always be true and can vary from screen to screen. Any colours shown are for guidance only. When choosing fabrics the best way is to use a DMC thread number for reference.
