Another wonderful release from Hands Across the Sea Samplers. Their samplers are so inspiring and beautiful and the detail in them is fascinating.
The charts are in booklet form, A4 size, printed in full colour on silk art paper and illustrated with beautiful art work. These are quality collector’s items and worth having to look at even if you don't get round to stitching them. The historical notes which accompany the samplers add to their interest and collectability. All these samplers are charted for Au Ver a Soie silk with a DMC conversion.
Elizabeth Beaven's sampler is enclosed with an unusual and whimsical undulating border filled with flora and fauna. Owls, parrots, geese, partridges, pheasants, squirrels, sheep, butterflies, caterpillars, bee skeps and beautiful freehand sprays of flowers abound making this sampler quite special and unique. Elizabeth’s interesting background is detailed in the historical notes
