William Morris designed and printed his Fruit or Pomegranate wallpaper in 1862. Lemons, oranges, peaches and pomegranates have all been seen in conservatories of the larger Victorian houses and Rossetti painted many famous portraits of Morris' wife Jane holding a pomegranate. These small cushions adapted from the wallpaper designs are ideal projects for beginners or to take on holiday
Cushion design size : 20 x 20 cm
Kits includes: Design printed in colour on 12# canvas, Appleton tapestry wools, tapestry needle and instructions for working the cushion.
We recommend using a tapestry slate frame when working all tapestries to assist with keeping the canvas in shape.
